Earlier this week, Toshiba unveiled world’s very first Secure Digital High-capacity memory card gadget and what makes it unique is the fact that it is embedded with wireless LAN functionality.

The card has been named “FlashAir” will be shipped to Japanese stores in the month of November while it will be available for purchase in February 2012. This latest memory card is compatible with peer-to-peer technology and transfers and with respect to storage space; it has in-built storage capacity of 8 gigabytes.

Talking about the other technical specifications, the new card measures 32mm by 24mm in size and is very sleek, that is 2.1mm thick.
